What does "custom wall cladding" mean at TerraDecor?
Every TerraDecor product is made to order – nothing comes from a warehouse shelf. "Custom" can mean three different levels:
- A catalogue design made to your size. You choose one of our 260+ designs and we produce it to fit your wall exactly, including cut-outs for windows, doors or sockets.
- A catalogue design adapted. Same structure, but a different colour, deeper or shallower relief, or a combination – for example stone with birch logs or a moss section.
- A completely new design. From your photo, sketch or idea: a rock face you saw on holiday, a grotto, a logo inside a moss wall or a sculptural relief. With our 3D scanner we can even scan an object or a model and reproduce it at any scale.
Made-to-measure cladding works in almost any room and outdoors: living-room and TV walls, staircases and hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms and showers, kitchens, offices and receptions, restaurants, spas, garages, garden walls, pool areas and complete facades.

When does made-to-measure pay off most?
Standard panels from a shop are cut to fit on site – which means visible cuts, offcuts and joints exactly where the eye looks. Made-to-measure cladding is designed around your wall from the start. It makes the biggest difference when:
- the wall has obstacles – windows, a TV niche, a fireplace opening or a staircase that climbs diagonally;
- the wall is the focal point of a living room, lobby, restaurant or reception area;
- the space is wet or outdoors – showers, pool areas, garden walls and facades, where only a durable, outdoor-rated product makes sense;
- you want something nobody else has – a specific rock, a logo or a scene that tells your story.
How to measure your wall correctly
Accurate measurements are the basis for modules that fit perfectly. Walls are rarely as straight as they look, so measure like a professional:
- Width at three heights – near the floor, in the middle and near the ceiling. Note the smallest value.
- Height at three points – left, centre and right.
- Every obstacle – windows, doors, sockets, switches, pipes, beams and radiators, with their distance from a fixed corner.
- Corners and edges – should the cladding wrap around an outer corner, end at a door frame or run into the ceiling?
- The substrate – plaster, concrete, plasterboard, old tiles or masonry. Indoors or outdoors?
A simple sketch with these numbers, even drawn by hand and photographed, is perfectly sufficient.
Which photos help us most?
- The whole wall, straight on, in daylight, with a tape measure or a door visible for scale.
- The surroundings – floor, ceiling, furniture and neighbouring walls, so the colour and style fit the room.
- Details – sockets, edges, the transition to the floor or a shower tray.
- Your inspiration – a design from our catalogue, a holiday photo of a rock face, a sketch or a logo file.
- The delivery route – for large or outdoor projects, a photo of the access helps us plan pallets and freight.
What does custom wall cladding cost?
For wall cladding and facade panels the price depends on relief depth: €140/m² up to 5 cm, plus €50/m² for every additional 5 cm, up to 50 cm. Prices exclude VAT, delivery within Europe is included, and the final price is always confirmed in the written offer. Example: a living-room wall of 3.5 × 2.6 m (9.1 m²).

Massive rocks and pool features are priced from €1,680/m³. Artistic custom designs – logos, sculptures, figurative reliefs – are priced individually once the details are confirmed, because the handwork varies so much from project to project.

Good to know before you order
- Made to order means no returns. Because each wall is produced for you, it cannot be returned. If you cancel during production, a 40 % fee applies – so take your time with the offer.
- Transport damage. Report any damage within 48 hours with photos. Minor damage can be repaired on site; otherwise we send a replacement part.
- Outside Europe? Shipping outside Europe is possible and arranged by agreement. See our shipping information.
- Installation. Panels are glued or screwed onto almost any stable, solid, dry and clean surface, indoors and outdoors. Screw heads disappear under caps in the colour and shape of the surface, and joints are designed to be invisible.
- Warranty. You get a 20-year warranty (on selected products up to lifetime). Improper installation, mishandling, sharp-object damage, aggressive solvents and modifications are not covered.

Can you make cladding for walls that are not straight?
Yes. Tell us the measurements at several points and send photos. The modules are produced to your measurements, and the deep relief helps to hide small irregularities of the wall.
Can I see my wall before it is shipped?
Yes. Before shipping, we send you photos of the finished pieces for approval.
Do I need an architect or designer?
No. Photos, measurements and your idea are enough. If you work with an architect or interior designer, we are happy to coordinate with them directly.
How do I choose the right relief depth?
As a rule of thumb: up to 5 cm for narrow spaces and subtle texture, 10–20 cm for feature walls with strong shadows, and more for dramatic rock faces and grottos. We are happy to advise in the offer.
Can you reproduce our company logo?
Yes – for example as a relief in stone or inside a moss wall. Send us the logo file and the desired size; logos are priced individually.
